Which literary character did I like and why? My favorite character

My favorite literary work is probably “The Little Prince” by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. And accordingly, the favorite hero is a little boy who lives on the moon. This is a story for adults about friendship, love and devotion. The Little Prince is an image of a person with ideal spiritual qualities, such as: sincerity, kindness, sympathy, high spirituality in general. He lives alone on his own planet. It symbolizes the loneliness of a person who has no place in his heart for another person. We see the main character as a very organized person. His day is planned:

  • wash your face first
  • bring your appearance in order,
  • go and take care of your little planet.

I also like the prince because he is an optimist and never gives up. He believes in his bright future. The prince believes that the world still has a lot to teach him.

Prince's Planet

On the planet of the little prince, he has a beautiful rose and a friend, the Fox, whom he asked to play with him when he was sad. The fox reveals a new quality in the prince: loyalty and great friendliness. I think all people should take an example from the prince in real life.

A rose is a symbol of a person's care for another being. Just like a symbol of childhood. After all, when we were little, we all loved something insignificant. The way the prince cared for the flower can be compared to the love of a mother for her newborn baby. She was the most beautiful and full of meaning. By pouring love into her, the prince was rewarded with a reciprocal feeling. The prince also has such a high human quality as gratuitousness. He never asks for anything in return, unlike many mercantile people.

The little prince is pure in everything: in thoughts, in actions. His life is filled with meaning, because the prince has love and loyalty inside him. These two qualities are the main ones so that a person can feel the full taste of life.

It would be great if more people like us lived on our planet. a little prince. In this case, we would completely eradicate all the evil that lives here.

Many schoolchildren have many questions, especially when the topic for the essay is quite complex. If the teacher gave the topic “Favorite heroes of literary works,” then they only ask you to have your own opinion, but difficulties may still arise when preparing to write.

Preparing for an essay

To write quality and good essay, you need to act according to plan:

  1. Think carefully about the topic of your essay. Write down the main ideas that you would like to present in the essay.
  2. When you start writing, don’t wander away from the main idea. In this case, an essay on the topic “My beloved literary hero"does not require retelling the book or writing about the worst character.
  3. Write an outline for your essay. The plan should consist of an introduction, a main part and a conclusion. Remember that each sentence should be a continuation of the previous one.
  4. In conclusion, conclude: “I love this hero because...”

Essay examples

Some examples that can help you write your own essay are given below.

“The essay on the topic “My favorite literary hero” reminded me of my favorite heroine from Natalya Shcherba’s book “Chasodei”. Vasilisa Ogneva is a very cheerful, smart, energetic, and also friendly girl with a difficult fate.

Throughout the story, Vasilisa is very confident in herself and is not afraid of difficulties. She helps her friends, and her friends help her. And I think it's very important to be kind.

In my opinion, Vasilisa is an amazing girl because she was able to study so many different things that she encountered for the first time, and, without being afraid that everything would be different, she changed her life for the better.”

Such an essay on the topic “My favorite literary character” well shows the character’s character and what you admire and why you love him.

In addition, you can add a little information to your essay about the adventures of your favorite hero: “I want to talk about a boy whose name is Viktor Perestukin, from the book “In the Country” unlearned lessons". This boy at the beginning of the book was a lazy person, a simpleton and a poor student. Having found himself in the land of unlearned lessons, Vitya was at first happy about the new place, and then, when animals and people began to look for him to take revenge for the mistakes that Vitya made in lessons, he got scared "Prestukin began to work, think and solve problems correctly. So our Perestukin became a diligent student from a lazy person."

Mini-essay example

If the teacher asks you to write a mini-essay “My favorite literary character,” you can make several sentences of this type: “My favorite hero is Simba. The cartoon "The Lion King" tells about one lion cub, whose name is Simba. When an accident happened to his father, Simba suffered from grief. But he grew up to be a courageous, brave and strong lion, who, together with his friends, took revenge on those who betrayed his father. His dad would be proud of such a son!”

If you want your essay on the topic “My Favorite Literary Character” to be beautifully written and easy to read, just follow a few simple rules:

  • Write an essay plan. Try to make it as detailed as possible. Describe all points.
  • Keep structure in mind when you write. An interesting beginning that encourages listening, the main part and the conclusion.
  • Reveal the most important questions. Everything you need to know about your hero.
  • Use a draft. After all, you can cross out on it, draw a picture if inspiration suddenly appears, and much more.
  • Don't go off topic.

These lungs and simple rules will help you write an A-grade essay. But most importantly, before you sit down to write, think about your favorite character, why you love or respect him. Your essay should convince others to read this book to learn as much as possible about the character.

The silence of the lesson was broken by Zoya Vasilievna’s sharp, creaky voice: “Golubev!” What is this? Are you out of your mind?! We all looked up from our notebooks as one. The class wrote an essay on the topic “My favorite hero.”
.
I have already jotted down the first words: “My favorite hero is the wonderful intelligence officer Nikolai Kuznetsov.” And suddenly…

- Golubev! I'm asking you! Get up!
.

From behind his desk in front of an angry man class teacher Alyosha Golubev stood up - short, frail, wearing glasses with strong lenses. He was the object of ridicule by the entire class, boys and girls, because he never participated in our pranks, he was quiet, shy, and a little clumsy. After classes he always hurried home (they said that he had a very sick mother). His quiet voice could only be heard at the blackboard. In the class, no one was friends with him, but on the contrary, they often offended him, teased him with “Dove” and often hid his things, taking advantage of Alyosha’s weak eyesight. But, to my surprise, he never got angry or snapped, but only smiled somehow helplessly, as if laughing at himself. At such moments I felt very sorry for him, but out of stupid solidarity with others, I never stood up for him.
.
And now Alyosha, bowing his shorn head, stood before the contemptuous gaze of Zoya Vasilievna. Despite the lack of time, everyone stared at this scene with curiosity, wanting to know what caused such outrage in the classroom.
.
But she herself answered our silent question:
- Just look at him! Who do you like who he writes about?! His favorite hero is Jesus Christ!
.
The class was noisy. Someone laughed, rejoicing that unfortunate Golubev had done something incredibly stupid. Someone whistled: “Yes!” And some people expressively twirled their fingers at their temples. Indeed, choose such a hero for yourself in our wonderful time! It’s 1970, a time of progress, the “era of bright years,” and here... Indeed, this Golubev is crazy!
.
Meanwhile, the cool one continued her accusatory speech:

.
– Now everything is clear to me: why you are still not a pioneer, and why you absolutely do not participate in public life class. No shame - you always refer to your sick mother! It turns out that’s what it’s all about, these are the heroes you have! What kind of social life is there!
.
A barely audible voice answered:

.
– Zoya Vasilievna, my mother is really very sick...
.
The class realized: the scene had dragged on, and the lesson time was inexorably passing. Moreover, almost everyone stopped writing and stared at her and poor Golubev.

.
– So, we continue to write, time is ticking! And you, Alyosha,” she changed her anger to mercy, “immediately cross out this... this, and write like all the guys: about a real hero, a real, wonderful person!” How many are there? wonderful people! Think and write.
.
She returned the notebook to Alyosha, and, considering the incident to be over, returned to the teacher’s desk. We also returned to our “opuses”, hurrying to make up for lost time. But for some reason Alyosha continued to stand, still lowering his head. It was impossible not to notice this class.
.
- What's the matter, Golubev? – her tone was dissatisfied. – Is there something unclear to you? Please note, we are wasting precious time!
.
And again I had difficulty making out the quiet answer:

.
- Sorry, Zoya Vasilyevna, I can’t... about another hero.
- What? What's happened?
.
Zoya Vasilievna rose from her seat without having time to establish herself in it, and with her entire majestic figure advanced towards Alyosha. He seemed so small and inconspicuous in front of her! The class was annoyed by the unexpected hitch, and besides, we all again raised our heads from our essays, looking in surprise at the obstinate Dove.
.
– What do you mean “I can’t”? Don't you have another favorite hero?

- No... there is no other way.

– This is not a hero, but an invention of ignorant, dark people. Nowadays it’s funny to even talk about it. But you and I will talk separately, and now, please, sit down and write like all the guys. Clear?

.
- Ok, I see. – Alyosha sat down and seemed to start writing something.

Zoya Vasilievna returned to her place, looked at him several times with suspicion, but calmed down. Everything went as usual. I easily jotted down beautiful sentences about how I would like to be like the scout hero in everything, and finished before everyone else. The bell rang deafeningly, making those lagging behind flinch. But then, everyone finally handed in their notebooks, and the class was empty. But the story with Golubev did not end there.
.
I was already in the corridor when I suddenly heard:

- Golubev, come back! – the tone of the classroom was elevated and did not promise anything good.

Alyosha returned to the classroom, and through the half-open door I saw him stand at Zoya Vasilievna’s desk, also with his head bowed and his narrow shoulders hunched.

It came to me:

- So that’s how you are! To spite the teacher, to spite everyone! Still, I wrote about it... about my own... I decided to show my stubbornness! So, I ask?

.
It would seem that I had nothing to do with the unfortunate Dove. Let him get it for his stupidity, for his hero, or whatever you call him... The guys had already fled (the lesson was the last), but something did not allow me to leave. Curiosity or some other feeling drew me to the half-open door.
.
Without knowing why, I walked up and listened.
.
“No, Zoya Vasilievna, I didn’t do it out of spite...” Alyosha’s voice was weak and trembling.

- No, just out of spite! Exactly! You were told: write like all the guys - about war heroes, pioneer heroes, and about anyone! We don't have enough wonderful people to look up to, to try to be like. And you? Who is this Jesus Christ? It's not even fairy tale hero! Well, okay, I would understand if you wrote about Ilya-Muromets, about Russian heroes. Who is he? Yes, understand that such a person has never existed! These are all priestly inventions that the uneducated believe in, gray people! And you, a Soviet schoolboy, repeat the fables of illiterate, deceived old women? Oh you! And I thought you were a smart boy. Shame on you!
.
Zoya Vasilievna interrupted her monologue, obviously to gain air to continue. But then Alyosha’s trembling voice was heard:

- It is not true! Jesus Christ... He lived, then died, He was crucified... But He came to life... That is, He was resurrected... He still lives. All the heroes died, but He lives!
.
There was a pause. I could only imagine Zoya Vasilievna’s face, but I myself was amazed. So object to the cool girl who could make anyone “swallow their tongue” with just a glance! And who is the quiet Dove! But then Zoya Vasilyevna came to her senses, and her voice boomed in the silence of the empty classroom:
.
- Do you understand what you are saying? You're lucky that no one hears you! Where do you live, Golubev? In which country? What school do you go to? In a Soviet school or in a Kyiv bursa?..
.
Zoya Vasilievna’s breathing began to falter, her voice almost became a squeal.

“He lives,” she mimicked. – Do you know that our scientists have long proven that there is no God?! Jesus Christ is just a fiction, you know? Fiction! And all this was invented by cunning people to deceive simpletons like you. So that instead of studying and building a bright future, you mutter all sorts of prayers with old women. Maybe you go to church too?
.
The question required an answer. And it sounded, just as quiet, but firm:

.
- Yes, I go... With my grandmother. But God exists, and Jesus Christ is God’s Son, and He died for our sins, and on the third day...
- Enough! The class teacher slammed something loudly on the table. – I don’t want to listen to this nonsense! I am not going to tolerate obscurantism in my class! Get ready, let's go to the director, let him decide what to do with you. If only I could feel sorry for my mother!
.
I decided that they would come out now, and I backed away from the door, intending to run away. But to my surprise, no one came out, and suddenly a completely different teacher’s voice came from behind the door - soft and somehow insinuating.

.
- Alyosha, listen! For your mom's sake, let's solve this... this situation differently. It's just you and me, let everything stay between us. After all, if everyone finds out, it will be hard for your mother, but she suffers so much, poor thing... - The voice became completely soft, sincere. - Let’s do this: now you promise me something, and we’ll forget everything, okay?

“Okay,” Alyosha answered happily. – What do you need to promise?
- Tell me this: Zoya Vasilyevna, forgive me, please... Can you do that?
- Yes I can. Zoya Vasilievna, please forgive me.
- Well, well done. And also say: I was very mistaken, there is no Jesus, and I give you an honest pioneer... my word of honor that I will never write or pronounce this name again. That's all I want to hear from you. Agreed?
.
Alyosha was silent. Apparently deciding that he was giving up, the class teacher added:

.
- Think about it. It's just you and me, no one can hear us. If the guys ask, say that I scolded you properly and forgave you. And with your essay... I'll think of something. Just tell me these words and let’s go, otherwise it’s too late.
.
I prepared to listen to Aleshkin’s apology. I myself, to be honest, would easily renounce everything and do as the class wanted. Just think, business! After all, no one hears, and this is the main thing! But what I heard was not an apology at all.
.
“No, Zoya Vasilyevna,” Alyosha’s voice suddenly became stronger and did not tremble at all. - There are not two of us here! Here is He Himself, Jesus Christ! He is alive... and He hears everything and sees everything. He died for me, Zoya Vasilievna! How can I say that He does not exist? Then I will be a traitor, like Judas. But I don’t want to be a traitor... and I won’t. Forgive me...” and Alyosha finally burst into tears.
.
I myself felt a lump in my throat - I felt sorry for Dove, what would happen to him now? “Well, Zoya will suit him now,” I thought. And at the same time, I realized that I myself would never have dared to do such a thing. Well, okay, you are fighting for yourself or for someone dear, or even for some Jesus Christ, Who, perhaps, never really existed! And if there was, is it really necessary to quarrel with the class teacher, or even with the school principal, because of Him? It's scary to even think about.
.
What happened next stunned me like a sudden blow. To Alyosha’s quiet sobbing was added a sob... Zoya Vasilievna! It was so unexpected that I simply lost my head and stopped understanding anything. It began to seem to me that all this was not happening for real, but that I was just hearing a radio show where everyone was crying, and me too. Through some kind of veil I heard Zoya Vasilievna’s intermittent, hoarse voice:
.
- Alyoshenka, my dear boy... Forgive me, old, stupid... I didn’t know... I myself don’t know anything... Alyosha, you don’t even understand how good you are... I’m sorry...

.
She was silent for a few seconds and added:

- Believe me. You can’t live without faith in this life... And I... forgive me!
.
I was a boy, but I understood that I needed to leave, there were no more witnesses needed here. Lost in thought, I didn’t even notice how I left school and wandered home, coming to my senses already at the door of my apartment. I didn’t understand a lot that day, but for some reason my heart ached and I didn’t want to play and fool around. I vaguely understood that I had touched something that had no explanation, some kind of secret, bright and pure, like the tears of those two in the classroom. Then, of course, I did not understand that this secret had an unearthly, unearthly origin.
.
That day, the door to the unknown opened for me... Many years have passed since then, almost human life. I don’t know where Alyosha Golubev is now, whether our cool Zoya Vasilievna Verbitskaya is still alive. Yes, and I am no longer a young, “seen the world” person, who wasted dozens of years of my life, acquired a serious illness, but still happy. And I clearly remember the first time I heard the Name, which is now dearer to me than all names. And how for the first time I witnessed the firm confession of this Name from the lips of a small, nondescript boy. And how this Name turned out to be capable of breaking through the armor of callousness and godlessness in the human heart, melting the many years of ice of lies in it.

.
Thank you, Alyosha! Glory to Thee, Lord!

In this collection we have combined 10 essays for all grades from 1 to 9 inclusive. All of them are dedicated to the favorite hero from literary work. Under each heading corresponding to the class number, you will find two essays: for a girl and for a boy.

For girls (160 words). My favorite fairy-tale hero is Malvina from A. Tolstoy’s book “Pinocchio”. This is a doll with blue hair who saves the wooden boy and teaches him. I really remember her because she is prudent, obedient and smart.

Malvina plays at the Karabas Barabas Theater, but together with other dolls disrupts the performance when Pinocchio comes to see it. She is distinguished from others by her wisdom, which is combined with beauty and good manners. The girl’s kindness is also striking, because she saves Pinocchio. The brave dog Artemon takes him down from the tree, and the heroine tries to train the wooden boy good manners. She sees that he lacks education and life experience, and wants to selflessly help. But Buratino does not appreciate this, ends up in a closet and runs away. He never understood that Malvina was his devoted friend. I was upset that her efforts were in vain. But in the finale, the author rewards the girl with the opportunity to go to a magical land.

The heroine of the fairy tale gives good example, that's why I liked it. I also want to study well and help less diligent children.

For boys (153 words). My favorite fairy tale hero is Ruslan from A. Pushkin’s work “Ruslan and Lyudmila”. This is a strong and brave hero who defeated an evil wizard. I remember him for his courage and valor.

Ruslan married Lyudmila, but on the night after the wedding feast the girl is kidnapped by Chernomor. Everyone around condemns the hero for not saving his wife. Then the hero, without further ado, goes after her. Other knights travel with him to recapture the beautiful princess. But he doesn't give up. His courageous character is stronger than his circumstances. After going through trials, he fought with the evil wizard and cut off his magical beard. Along the way, he proved himself to be a brave, kind, courteous and intelligent warrior. These qualities were appreciated by those who met him. They helped Ruslan save his beloved.

I liked this hero because he is not only strong and courageous, but also knows how to find an approach to people. He is kind and sympathetic, unlike other knights. That's why he wins the final.

For 3-4 grades

For girls (174 words). My favorite fairy tale heroine is Gerda from H. H. Andersen’s “The Snow Queen.” She is sympathetic, kind and courageous. These qualities helped her save Kai from the captivity of the Snow Queen and melt the pieces of ice in his heart.

The heroine was friends with Kai, a neighbor boy. But he was hit by a fragment of a poisonous mirror, so he began to see only bad things in the world. The Snow Queen found him on the street and took him with her, because now his heart was as cold as hers. Having lost her friend, Gerda went to his rescue. Along the way, she faced trials; she was captured several times, but this did not break her. What I like most about her is her strength of spirit. Thanks to her, a weak girl defeated powerful magic. She escaped from the magical garden, did not stay in a rich castle, and survived among the robbers.

Everywhere people saw her kindness and openness, politeness and good manners. Therefore, they willingly helped her find a friend. To good people I always want to help, especially in a noble cause. So she got to the Snow Queen's castle and freed Kai. Her love melted the ice in his heart.

For boys (174 words). My favorite fairy tale heroes are positive characters, as a rule. However, I recently read the Russian folk tale "Baba Yaga". It describes the difficult life of a stepdaughter, whose stepmother was the sister of a forest witch. The girl was almost eaten by an evil witch, but her servants saved the heroine. Most of all, I liked the cat who replaced the captive and taught her how to escape from Baba Yaga.

The cat is a very wise animal. Even in life, they find people's sore spots and lie on them to relieve the pain. This property of cats is played out in the fairy tale. The hero is smart, resourceful and cunning. But the evil mistress does not appreciate him. Because of this, he decided to support the kind girl who ended up with the witch. She gave him some meat and said a kind word. The witch's servant responded fairly to this - he helped the heroine escape. The cat gave her a magic comb that turns into dense forest, and a towel that becomes a river when thrown. When the girl ran away, the hero began to spin in her place and respond to Baba Yaga’s questions. It was his wisdom that helped her survive.

This hero sets a great example. Need to accumulate useful knowledge to help people in difficult situations.

For 5-6 grades

For girls (208 words). My favorite fairy-tale character is the heroine of S. Ya. Marshak’s fairy tale “Twelve Months”. I really like the girl from the fairy tale, because she is modest, hardworking and kind. Her personal example taught the capricious queen in one day what the gray-haired professor could not teach her throughout her life.

Since the girl was well-mannered and kind, her rude relatives took advantage of her dependability. Having heard the decree about the reward for the snowdrops, they sent it into the snowy forest. The heroine almost froze to death, but saw how they sat by the fire for twelve months. They listened to the guest's story and decided to help. April gave her flowers and a ring in case of trouble. Of course, the stepmother and stepsister took all this away from the stepdaughter. Having received what she wanted, the queen forced all three women to take her to a wonderful place. There the magic ring fell, and the months decided to teach people a lesson, quickly changing the seasons. Finally, an old man approached the heroes who remained in the forest after the bad weather and rewarded everyone with the fulfillment of their wishes. The girl did not ask for anything out of modesty, but she was still rewarded for her kindness with a team of horses and fur coats. It was then that for the first time the queen was forced to ask, rather than command. So, the example of a noble and sympathetic girl taught her to behave well.

In my stepdaughter I see an honest and hardworking person. We should all strive for this proud title, not in words, but in deeds.

For boys (201 words). My favorite hero is Danila from P. P. Bazhov’s tale “The Stone Flower”. I like the hero because he is a master of his craft. He is most concerned about self-development, for which he sacrificed everything. This is the path of every creator.

Being a 12-year-old orphan, the boy became an apprentice to Prokopich. He gave him the material and was amazed, because Danila already knew how to work. He had amazing abilities. The elderly master began to teach him, but the student soon surpassed him. The master appreciated his talent and gave him the opportunity to work without ceasing. Danila's life improved, he even wooed Natasha. But he decided to get married only when he created a cup of unprecedented beauty. He had only heard about her in legends. They said that there is a Queen Copper Mountain, which takes the best masters to its place. He went to her, despite the danger. Having found her, he found the inspiration he was looking for. I recognized myself in his persistence. This sense of purpose is also close to me. I would also like to achieve success in my favorite business, to do something that posterity would not forget about. That's why I like this character.

For 7-8 grades

For girls (202 words). My favorite character is Della from O Henry's The Gift of the Magi. I am inspired by her selfless desire to make her husband happy. She is the “wisest” woman, the author himself awarded her this epithet.

To give her husband a worthy gift, the heroine sold her luxurious hair. The young family lived poorly, and Jim's only treasure was a gold watch of rare beauty. Della wanted to give him a platinum chain, but there was nowhere to get the money. She was able to save only a dollar and eighty-five cents. Then she cut and sold her hair, receiving enough money to buy it. However, the woman did not know that her husband had pawned the watch to buy her a precious comb for her lost hair. Despite this, their Christmas was much happier than that of many rich people. It is precisely such marriages, filled with sincerity and emotionality, and not money, that can last for many years. With such a faithful and kind wife as Della, Jim will definitely achieve success.

I was impressed by the heroine because she has a very patient and really strong character. Instead of reproaching her husband for not earning enough money, she supported him and loved him devotedly. In addition, her action seemed more complex to me. For the sake of her husband, she sacrificed a part of herself, and not just a piece of jewelry. She has the talent to love, and this is the most important thing in life.

For boys (236 words). My favorite literary hero is Yushka from the work of the same name by A. Platonov. This inconspicuous man had wonderful qualities that people around him did not notice. But the one who was so underestimated and despised, even with his modest capabilities, made this world a better place. That's why I like him.

Efim Dmitrievich suffered from consumption, so at 40 he looked older. He was frail and weak, and everyone offended him, because he could not answer anyone. His way of life seemed ridiculous to all the inhabitants of the city. The man did not spend the money he earned, drank only plain water, and did not go anywhere except work. Only once a year did he go somewhere, but no one knew where. So, in an atmosphere of mockery and insults, his life passed. At best, the townspeople treated him indifferently, at worst, they beat him. It was in one of these incidents that the hero met his death. In response to accusations of uselessness, Efim answered the offender that if a person is born, it means that the white world already needs him. Then a passerby beat the sick man. Only after Yushka’s funeral did it become clear that all this time he had been giving his money to a poor orphan in order to teach her and raise her to her feet. The girl came to his city and began to treat its inhabitants, to help them selflessly in memory of the one who did so much for her.

Yushka is phenomenal a kind person, his image inspires readers to become more merciful and patient. I also began to notice in myself that I also wanted to calmly react to the stupidity of others and also modestly do a good job, without expecting praise.

For 9th grade

For girls (250 words). My favorite heroine is Tatyana from A. Pushkin’s novel “Eugene Onegin”. This is an intelligent, moral and modest girl, whose example will help many women make right choice. It is interesting that the author himself called her a “sweet ideal”.

Tatyana is a representative of the small nobility. She was raised by a nanny who instilled in her a love of folk tales and traditions. From an early age the girl fell in love with reading. She drew wisdom from him. The intelligence shining in her eyes made her appearance individual. But there was also back side: the girl was shy of strangers, did not like to be in society, did not know how to make an impression. However, Onegin immediately noticed its originality, although he could not appreciate all its merits at once. His refusal hurt Tatyana, but did not break her character. The girl never stopped loving him all her life, despite the fact that she saw all the unsightly sides of his nature. Evgeny flirted with her sister, then killed Olga’s fiancé in a duel and completely fled from those places. However, constancy of feelings is one of the heroine’s virtues, which she carried throughout her life. It was also supplemented by constancy of beliefs, which is not so often found in people who have faced temptations. Many years later, Onegin confessed his love to Tatyana, but she rejected him because she was already married and could not cheat on her husband. Her virtue steadfastly guarded the bonds of marriage, even from belated love.

Thus, Tatyana Larina is a “sweet ideal” not only for Pushkin, but also for many modern readers. By her example, she proves the immutable truth: a woman needs not so much beauty as wisdom and virtue. Only then will she fulfill her destiny, becoming a faithful wife and a far-sighted mother.

For boys (246 words). My favorite hero is Mtsyri from Lermontov’s poem of the same name. This young man has spent his entire life striving for freedom and his father’s home; his ideals are pure and moral. His escape expresses the strength and determination of his character. In a skirmish with a leopard, it is clear that he is endowed with both endurance and courage. In a word, this is the type of person who is able to do something.

Unlike the short-sighted Kalashnikov and the infantile Pechorin, this hero commands respect. Having left the prison walls of the monastery, where he was forcibly taken from native village, he began to experience life as it is. Mtsyri did not accept the fate imposed on him, he went against it. A craving for freedom and determination led him to the world of wild nature, where he tried his hand. He went to look for a way to native home to reunite with his people, but did not find it. But he wandered through the expanses of beautiful valleys, competed with a leopard, and saw a beautiful stranger. During the three days of his escape, he lived a whole life filled with adventures and emotions. He experienced the rage and heat of battle, love and attraction, and learned the beauty of nature and free existence. Despite the tragic ending, his destiny was filled with meaning, but if he had stayed and taken the rank, he would have lost himself completely. There was no place for him in a foreign land, no purpose, so it is quite natural that he died. But he died having seen something, become someone, and without betraying his ideals.

This hero inspires the reader to fight an unjust fate and rebel against its tyranny. His image hides such virtues as fortitude, love of freedom and courage. This is why I like this character.

Interesting? Save it on your wall!

My favorite literary hero

Vladik Liseenkov, 2nd grade, school No. 332
My favorite literary hero

My name is Vladik. I am 8 years old. I'm in second grade. Unfortunately, I haven't had time to read many books yet. I like each book in its own way. My mother used to read me a lot of children's poems by various authors. Now we read poems, stories, fables, novels together. I especially like fairy tales. They teach us kindness and ingenuity.
Each fairy tale has its own unique heroes, villains and its own wisdom.

Misha Lebedev, 2nd grade, school No. 332
My favorite literary hero

The story "An extreme case"
I want to talk about the hero - Ivan, from Ilya Turichin’s book “An Extreme Case”.
Ivan dreamed of becoming a scientist, but became a soldier. On a summer day in 1945, the Nazis attacked our Motherland. While accompanying her son to the front, the mother gave him a crust of bread, just in case.
The war was long and difficult. Ivan had to blow up German tanks and go behind enemy lines for “tongue.” He was wounded in battle. So I reached Berlin. The victorious fireworks thundered, and the ground became quiet.
Walking along Berlin Square, Ivan saw a girl, small and helpless. He handed her his mother's bread and lifted her into his arms. And then the bullet overtook the hero, hitting him in the heart. Afraid of dropping the girl, he did not fall. The body began to fill with metal. The face, clothes, bread and the girl in her arms became bronze. The child's tear fell and became a sparkling sword.
This is how the monument stands in Berlin - visible to the whole world. I wanted to tell you about the feat of this soldier.

Fairy tale story "Harry Potter"
My favorite literary hero is Harry Potter. English writer Joan Rowling wrote books about him. In total, she wrote six books about this wizard, his loyal friends and enemies.
In each of these books, mysterious riddles, dangerous fights and adventures awaited Harry. But he emerged victorious from all these situations thanks to the help of his friends: Ron, Hermione and many others. They all study at the Hogwarts school of magic, where they teach such lessons as: defense against the dark arts, potions, caring magical creatures and many more different unusual items.
There were many teachers in this school who taught the children love, kindness, and perseverance. I really like this book and its main character.

My favorite literary character from the works I have read is Baron Munchausen. The author of this book is Rudolf Erich Raspe. This book contains many adventures that happened to the baron. Baron Munchausen turned out to be a very brave, decisive and resourceful man. He easily emerged victorious from any situation. They could not scare him or defeat him wild animals, no enemies, no unusual strange things. When I grow up I want to be as brave.

The story "Chuk and Gek"
This summer I read Arkady Gaidar’s story “Chuk and Gek”. The main characters are two mischievous and funny boys. Their names are Chuk and Gek. They play pranks and get into different stories. It was especially funny when Huck hid from his mother in a chest and fell asleep there. And mom thought that he was lost in the forest and was very scared. Thank you that the smart dog found Huck in the chest by smell. And then the whole family got together and celebrated the New Year.
I really liked the story, because Chuk and Gek, although pranksters, are good and kind boys. And all the people they met were also kind and everyone helped them.

Fairy tale "Rikki - Tiki - Tavi"
In the summer I read a wonderful book about a little mongoose. His name was Rikki-Tiki - Tavi.
Rikki - Tiki lived with his parents in a narrow hollow, and then he was carried away by a flood.
He woke up in the garden. There he was found by people who took him to the house. Big man wrapped him in cotton wool, warmed him by the fire, and then allowed him to stay in the house.
Rikki-tikki ran around the house all day. He tried to see everything with his own eyes, because, like any mongoose, Rikki - Tiki was burning with curiosity from nose to tail. Due to the fact that he stuck his nose everywhere, he found himself in unpleasant situations several times.
The next day, when Ricky went to the garden, he heard someone crying loudly. It was Darzi, the tailor bird and his wife, whose chick was eaten by the huge cobra Nag. The mongoose asked them - who is Nag? The birds hid in the nest and did not answer.
A few seconds later, Ricky heard a quiet hissing in the grass and saw a very large black snake, which introduced itself to him as Nag. The mongoose was scared for just a minute. He understood that he lived in order to fight with snakes, to defeat them and eat them.
When, some time later, Nag crawled into a man's house and wanted to kill him, Rikki-Tiki jumped and grabbed Nag's neck with his teeth. He understood that he would never let the snake go, even if it cost him his life.
Rikki-Tikki remained alive and decided to finish off Nagini and her little snakes. He learned from Darzi where cobras hide their eggs. The tailor bird's wife agreed to help Ricky in his war with the snakes. Rikki-Tikki-Tavi found a bed where eggs with tiny cobras were buried and began to quickly bite the tops of the eggs, while grabbing the heads of the baby snakes.
While he was dealing with the snake offspring, Nagaina crawled onto the veranda of the house and wanted to avenge Naga’s death. By biting Teddy. Darzi's wife told Ricky about this. Ricky took the last whole egg and ran towards the house. He managed to lure Nagaina from the veranda and began to fight with her. Nagaina, having deceived Rikki, took her cub and tried to escape with him. Rikki-Tikki-Tavi followed her and continued the fight in her hole. All the inhabitants of the garden had already decided that Ricky had died when he got out of the hole. So there was no longer a single cobra left in the garden.
This brave little animal surprised me. He was not afraid to wage war alone against such formidable opponents as Nag and Nagaina, although the other inhabitants of the garden trembled at the mere mention of the names of these snakes.

Fairy tale "The Golden Key or the Adventures of Pinocchio." I like the hero Pinocchio from Alexei Tolstoy’s fairy tale “The Golden Key or the Adventures of Pinocchio.” A very interesting film was made based on this work.
Pinocchio is a cheerful, kind person. He loves adventures and believes in miracles. Pinocchio helped his friends from the puppet theater free themselves from Karabas Barabas. I liked the fact that this boy is resourceful. It was a great idea to find out the secret of the Golden Key. He climbed into the jug, and when he spoke from it, there was an echo.
The evil owner of the puppet theater and his friend Durimar got scared and told everything. Of course, Pinocchio is a little disobedient. But everything ended well. He began to pay more attention to Papa Carlo and the smart cricket. I learned to listen to the advice of my elders. His thirst for adventure led him to the world of fairy tales. A magic door opened, and Pinocchio and his friends found themselves in a new theater. They probably still perform plays together now. Malvina teaches everyone to read and write. I also want to be friends with them and go to a fairyland.

Danko is my favorite hero. I learned about him from Maxim Gorky’s book “Stories and Fairy Tales”.
Danko, this is a young man. He saved his entire tribe. His fellow tribesmen were driven into the dark forest by his enemies. People died from the stench of the swamps and from melancholy. They decided to surrender to the enemy. But then Danko appeared. He said that there was no need to give up, and that he would lead everyone out of the forest. People walked for a long time. They were tired and angry with Danko. They wanted to kill him. He tore his chest with his hands and tore out his burning heart. Danko raised it above his head and people followed him. And then the forest opened up for people. Danko laughed proudly and died. But people rejoiced and did not notice his death.
I like Danko because he was brave and wise. Also because he loved people and gave his life for them

Because she is a kind, smart and cheerful girl. She found herself in an amazing country. One golden afternoon, little Alice followed the White Rabbit, who disappeared down a deep hole. She rushed there and found herself in a topsy-turvy world - Wonderland. There she meets the Queen of Hearts and her army. I talked to the talking dishes. Met the famous Cheshire Cat. I met Humpty Dumpty. In Wonderland, Alice changes in size several times: sometimes she decreases, sometimes she increases. Therefore, everything around changes in the opposite direction. The wolf was surprised and asked “Why?” And the hare answered: Your dad ate my grandmother.
Then the wolf met a squirrel - Squirrel, let's be friends! And the squirrel says - No, your grandfather swallowed my mother. Then the wolf met the hedgehog: Let's be friends, hedgehog! And the hedgehog says: “No, your mother crushed my son.”
The wolf became very sad. He walked and walked and came to a large mountain. He climbed up on her and began to howl. The fox heard him, came running and said: Don’t howl, wolf, I will be friends with you. Don't you really want to be friends with me? - asked the wolf. “Yes, I want to, let’s play catch-up,” said the fox. But the fox deceived him. The wolf got angry and left her for a farm that was nearby. On the way, crossing the river, he threw the key to his house into it. Everyone on the farm was afraid of him, the cows, the chickens and the rams. Only one dog was not afraid of him and invited him to guard all the animals with him. I have many favorite literary heroes. Today I want to talk about one of them. This is a character from Charles Perrault's fairy tale Puss in Boots. I really liked this cat for his resourcefulness, how he helped his owner get rich and marry a princess
He is very cute and funny, this cat helped his owner a lot, who inherited it from his father. He even came up with a name for his master, Marquis Karabas. So from the son of a miller, thanks to Puss in Boots, he became a marquis. And the owner bought the famous boots for the cat because it was painful for him to walk on stones. And after my beloved hero Puss in Boots arranged a life for his owner, he himself began to live very well, richly and happily, that he even stopped catching mice, except sometimes for fun. A little more time passed at the cat's house, in the owner's palace, there was a bowl of milk. The cat himself was lying in a crib and enjoying a fish, suddenly a mouse ran past him, but he did not chase after it and hunt, but invited it to become friends with it. He also suggested to her that he would help her in everything, since she turned out to be small and defenseless! That’s how kind he is, my dear cat in boots!

My favorite hero is the lion Boniface. This lion worked in a circus. He was an extraordinary artist: he walked on a tightrope and showed various tricks. Leo Boniface loved to eat bananas.
One day he went to visit his grandmother in Africa. Leo wanted to relax and sunbathe. But most of all he wanted to catch a goldfish, and in Africa he had to entertain African children, just like in his circus.
When the holidays were over, all the children came to see him off. Grandma gave him a sweater. He boarded the ship, which was about to set sail, and, slipping, fell into the water, but was lifted aboard from the ship. Boniface felt something tickle him. This was the fish he had dreamed of so much. But he no longer needed it, Lev bent down and released the fish into the water. Sailing away, Boniface looked at the shore and thought: “What a wonderful thing - vacation!”

My favorite fairy tale is the fairy tale Cinderella. I really like it because it is a very magical and kind fairy tale. And there is also a very kind and beautiful girl, whose name is Cinderella. I like her very much. They called her that because she worked from morning to evening in the kitchen and was always grimy with ash. Cinderella was very unhappy. She lived with her father and stepmother, and two sisters. Her father was kind, but her stepmother and sisters were evil. They always scolded her, but Cinderella endured everything. One day, the stepmother and sisters went to a ball, but Cinderella was not taken and given a lot of work. She cried, but did everything she was ordered, and then her godmother, a sorceress, appeared. She loved Cinderella very much and helped her get to the ball. She turned a pumpkin into a carriage, mice into horses, and Cinderella's dirty dress into a beautiful ball gown.
And gave her the Crystal Slippers.
Cinderella went to the ball and met the prince there, who fell in love with her. But when the clock struck midnight, Cinderella ran away and lost her shoe. The prince was very upset and almost fell ill. In the morning, the king ordered to find the girl who had lost her shoe. But the shoe was too small for everyone. And when they came to Cinderella’s house and tried on the shoe for her, the shoe fit her just right. The prince immediately married Cinderella, and they lived happily ever after. In this fairy tale, everything ends well for Cinderella, because she was very kind, beautiful and hardworking. My dream is to become like Cinderella and be just as happy.

My favorite literary character is Captain Nemo

Captain Nemo, or Captain Nobody, as he called himself, decided to leave the earth forever and surrender to the power of the depths of the sea. He lived for many years under water on the Nautilus ship, which was developed according to his design and drawings and assembled personally by him and him friends on one of the uninhabited islands. The ship received its name from the charming animal Nautilus, the meeting of which, according to the ancients, foreshadowed happiness. Nowadays this mollusk is known as the “Argonaut”. "Nautilus" - maneuverable and fast - became for Captain Nemo both a home with a large library, where wonderful books from all over the world were collected, and a laboratory for the study of the underwater world. Its collections could make any museum in the world happy. On Captain Nemo's ship, everything is electrically controlled energy that they learned to extract from ordinary sea water.
Captain Nemo is a courageous, brave, kind man. He always came to the aid of those who needed it.
I believe that somewhere, deep under water, the Nautilus is still floating, illuminating the path for many miles ahead with a powerful searchlight. And this brave man to the point of recklessness, Captain Nemo, a worthy role model for many boys, still peers into the distance. .I have always wanted to touch, at least for a moment, the great secrets of the underwater depths.
Thanks to Jules Verne and Captain Nemo for giving me the opportunity to sail twenty thousand leagues under water, travel around the world, visit the South Pole, and visit all the seas that wash our land.

Robinson Crusoe

We recently read a book about Robinson Crusoe. I liked him because he is strong, brave and also dexterous. Since childhood, Robinson dreamed of sailing around the world, finally he got ready and sailed. An accident happened and there was a very strong storm. His entire crew died, but he survived and woke up on a desert island. But he did not lose his head in difficult times, was not afraid, and lived on the island for 30 years. He built houses, cottages, grew wheat, which he saved from the wreckage of a ship, and baked bread.
He caught animals, made tools and instruments. A few years later, on Friday, he met a native and named him Friday. He defeated his cannibal enemies. And later they saved Friday’s father from evil neighbors. They lived on a distant island. At first Robinson communicated with Friday only by signs, but over time Robinson taught his friend to talk. Together they built a boat to cross to their neighbors, where the Europeans lived. Crusoe dreamed of getting home and wanted to ask for their help.
The boat was very heavy, but together with Friday and his father they were able to do it. I remembered his exploits and adventures. It is very cool and good that Robinson Crusoe was able to return to his homeland after many years.

I have read a lot of books and I like many literary characters, but one of my favorites is Kuzya the brownie. Kuzya is funny, cheerful and economical. He has many friends and he always comes to their aid. What I like most about him is his sense of humor and resourcefulness. For example, in one of the stories he was going to wash himself along with his clothes: “I’ll wash my clothes and wash myself at the same time, but why waste time!”
Brownie Kuzya is endowed with many character traits that would be useful to many people.

I really like the fairy tale “The Little Mermaid”. An animated film was also created based on this fairy tale. The main character, and my favorite hero of this fairy tale, is the Little Mermaid herself, otherwise called Ariel. I like Ariel because she is kind, smart, brave, and always ready to help her family and friends in everything. Many interesting episodes can be told about Ariel. Here is one of them: one day Ariel and her fish friend named Bully went to a sunken ship in search of jewelry. On the ship, the careless Bull was almost eaten by a shark. Thanks to Ariel's cunning, the shark fell into the trap, but Bull remained unharmed.
Using the example of the life and actions of the main character, The Little Mermaid, this fairy tale teaches us not to be indifferent to someone else’s misfortune, and to help each other. When you have loyal and reliable friends next to you, it is easier to cope with difficulties in life.

I read the fairy tale “Tom Thumb”. Of the characters in this fairy tale, I liked Thumb. Despite the fact that he is small, the boy coped with any difficulty and work. Thumb Boy was cunning, smart and persistent. Even when the evil master did not return the golden cap to him, the boy was not afraid to return it back. Because the boy was cunning. He outwitted the evil master and returned to his father and mother with a bag full of money.

My favorite literary hero is Klementy Cheremysh from Lev Kasil’s story “Warlet-Cherymysh”. The military pilot Major Cheremysh became famous in the Far East. The Manchu white bandits wanted to plunder the Chinese-Eastern railway. The Red Army responded to this insolence with a deafening blow. Among those who distinguished themselves in this operation was the young military pilot Klementy Cheremysh. He was wounded. He was brought to Moscow, and the surgeon removed the bullet from his chest. And then, on Cheremysh’s healed chest, the first order appeared. He was a test pilot, piloting new combat vehicles into the sky. For special services to the country's defense power, he was awarded the second order. Soon his name thundered throughout the country thanks to his ultra-long Arctic flight. He received the title of Hero of the Soviet Union.

My favorite literary character is the cat Roberto, the main character of the book “Samson and Roberto” by Ingvar Ambjornsen. I like that Roberto is a very calm cat by nature. Before he does or says anything, Roberto will definitely think about it. He always keeps himself in check, that is, he knows how to control himself. And he calls on his friend, the very unbalanced dog Samson, to do this. Roberto the cat always finds a way out of difficult life situations. When tax inspector Per Vred came to the boarding house, Roberto was not afraid or confused. The cat skillfully explained why taxes must be paid. Roberto the cat is a real businessman, that is, a business cat. He competently manages business in the boarding house and never misses a profit. But despite this, Roberto is a very sensitive cat. He was the first to notice that the badger Greta was in love with the mole Gregor. I fell in love with the cat Roberto for his intelligence and resourcefulness, for his kindness and self-confidence. This cat is a real hero our time.

My favorite literary hero is Dunno. Writer Nikolai Nosov wrote about him. I liked Dunno because he is cheerful, funny, cheerful and kind. What I didn’t like about him was that he was a little stupid and didn’t always tell the truth. If I were him, I would be more attentive to my friends. I would like Dunno’s qualities, such as mutual understanding and cheerfulness, to be with me.

My favorite literary character is Alyosha from Antony Pogorelsky’s fairy tale “The Black Hen or Underground inhabitants»
I like Alyosha because he was very kind and affectionate, and he also read a lot fiction and successfully studied all sciences. Studying was very easy for him, and Alyosha never refused to help other students.
I didn’t like that the boy asked the king that his studies would be easy for him, without preparation for classes. Alyosha, of course, did not think about his desire and I do not judge him strictly. Because of his rash act, he had to go through a lot. Alyosha coped with the tests and again became his old self, but more experienced.
I want to be like Alyosha, have everything he has good qualities, his good disposition, and so that my studies were easy for me, but deservedly due to my work and not to look for easy ways.

The last books I read were 3 by Luc Besson: “Arthur and the Minimoys”, “Arthur and the Forbidden City”, “Arthur and the Revenge of Urdalak”.
My favorite literary character from these books is Arthur. I liked this boy because he was brave, kind, smart. He was not afraid to go to the unknown country of the Minimoys to save his grandfather, who disappeared there. In the country of the Minimoys, Arthur withstood many difficult tests, which Urdalak arranged. This villain wanted to take over the country of the Minimoys, and then the whole world. Arthur, together with Princess Selenia and Prince Barakhlyush, declared war on Urdalak. I will read how it ended in the next books.
The main thing in these books is that Arthur saved his beloved grandfather from captivity of Urdalak, who had been missing there for 10 years. Arthur risked his life many times and was ready to give it for the freedom of his grandfather and Princess Selenia. Arthur helped the Minimoys defeat the Osmats, who were the guards of Urdalak. Because Arthur is brave, smart and noble, the minimoys offered him to become their king. Princess Selenia fell in love with Arthur for his kind heart.
I, too, would like to be in the country of the Minimoys. It would be interesting to look at creatures that are smaller than a grain of sand. I would also like to endure all the trials, like Arthur, and fight the terrible Urdalak. If Urdalak had kidnapped my grandfather, I, too, would have gone to save him without hesitation.
My grandfather and my mother really liked these books, and especially my sister Tanya and brother Misha. They also want to read them, and I will give them these books soon.

My favorite literary character is the rabbit from the fairy tale “Aga Gotcha” by E. Matyushkina and E. Okovita. I liked him because he was cheerful and cheerful. He was not offended by anyone, but he always got in everyone’s way, and everyone drove him away.
One day the rabbit said that he wanted to become a detective, but no one believed him. One day all the animals were discussing the name of their teams for the competition, and the rabbit suddenly decided to go look for his socks. While he was walking, the competition began. The rabbit didn't hear the rules, but still won. And everyone realized that, despite his shortcomings, he was a good friend.

I really like the hero of Russian folk tales, Ivanushka. Everyone thinks he is a fool, but he is very smart. In fairy tales, Ivan always defeats evil. Ivan is brave, strong, courageous. He loves his homeland and his people and defeats the evil ones - Koshchei and Baba Yaga. Those whom he spares thank him and help him in everything.

My favorite character is Harry Potter from the book Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. He was left without parents early on and lived with his relatives. They treated them badly, but Harry endured it and never complained. When he was 11 years old, he went to Hogwart and began studying to become a wizard. He had many friends there. He was very smart, brave and loved adventure. When a troll attacked his friend, Harry, without hesitation, rushed to save her. He fought with an evil wizard and defeated him. All the teachers loved him for his kindness and courage. I want to be as brave and smart as Harry Potter.

Recently, my mother and I read the Arabic fairy tale “Sinbad the Sailor.” A long time ago there lived a merchant in the city of Baghdad, his name was Sinbad. One day he decided to go on a long journey. Many adventures happened to him: he was in the diamond valley, met with shaggy people, with a giant, with a shaggy bird Rukh. He traveled for 27 years and then returned home and lived happily ever after.

I like the heroine of A.N. Tolstoy’s fairy tale “Pinocchio, or the Golden Key” Malvina. She was very beautiful, she had curly, blue hair. Malvina is smart, cheerful and hardworking. The girl with blue hair was never alone, even living in the forest she communicated kindly with birds and animals. She always had activities - reading, drawing, singing.

I really like the hero of Kipling's fairy tale - Mowgli. This is a very exciting story about life in the jungle. About how a human cub got into a wolf pack and survived. Akela accepted the boy as a son. He taught him everything he knew and could do. In addition, Mowgli was surrounded and taught to survive in the jungle by the kind teacher Baloo, the wise boa constrictor Kaa, the graceful black panther Bagheera and many others.
This is a very beautiful fairy tale. She teaches goodness and justice.

I really like Dmitry Yemets' books. In particular, the series of books “Mefodiy Buslaev”.
Methodius Buslaev is an ordinary person. Lives ordinary life. When suddenly he finds out that he turns out to be... great magician of darkness. But he doesn't like to spread evil around. He has not yet made a choice between Light and Darkness (whether he should be light or dark). Methodius does not know “how, having made a choice between Light and Darkness, to remain oneself”? He will have to find the answer to this question himself...
I like the books “Mefodiy Buslaev”. I've only read three books in this series, but I'm reading the fourth.

Khavroshechka

My favorite piece- Russian folk tale - Khavroshechka. It talks about the hard life of a simple girl. She worked from morning to night: she wove canvases, whitewashed them, and then rolled them into pipes. And the stepmother’s daughters - One-Eyes, Two-Eyes and Three-Eyes were having fun and playing at that time.
The girl’s only consolation was the pockmarked cow, who pitied her and helped her in her work: if Khavroshechka fits into one of the cow’s ears, she comes out of the other - all the work is done.
The stepmother found out about this and forced her husband to slaughter the cow. In the place where Khavroshechka buried the seeds, a beautiful apple tree grew.
One day a good fellow was driving past the garden and wanted to eat an apple, but none of the sisters could get it. When Khavroshechka approached the apple tree, the tree bent its branches, and golden apples fell into her apron. The young man really liked Khavroshechka, he put her on a horse and took her to live with him.
I always imagine myself in the place of the main character and worry about everything that happens to him.

My favorite literary hero
Mowgli

I really like the main character from the book of the famous English writer Rudyard Kipling - Mowgli.
Mowgli found himself in the jungle as a very small child. His mother was the she-wolf Raksha. Mowgli's friends were the bear Baloo, the panther Bagheera, the python Kaa and his gray brothers. Mowgli swam beautifully, climbed trees, ran fast and could speak wolf perfectly. He learned to walk on four legs. He howled and growled like wolves, and his name in wolf language meant Little Frog. He was accepted into the pack at the council, thanks to Bagheera.
Mowgli was taught the laws of the jungle by the bear Baloo. One day, while he was sleeping, he was kidnapped by the Bandar-logs and dragged to the monkey city. And again his friends came to the rescue: the bear, the panther and the python Kaa, who once gave Mowgli an iron tooth - a sharp knife, which he never parted with.
The most important enemy for the jungle and for Mowgli was the tiger Shere Khan. He violated the law of the Great Truce and subsequently paid for it with his life.
Mowgli was very drawn to people, but he did not want to part with the jungle. He chose people, but the door to the jungle was always open for Mowgli.

My favorite literary character is "Pinocchio". He finds true friends and comrades, goes through many trials and with their help finds the golden door in Papa Carlo's closet. As usual, good triumphs over evil.
Pinocchio is a little strange, not an obedient fellow, but in fact he is very kind and cheerful. I recommend reading this fairy tale.

My favorite literary hero is Tom Sawyer. Tom Sawyer lived with his aunt Paulie and his younger brother Sid in the American town of St. Petersburg. Sid was an exemplary boy. But Tom was completely different. He was a disobedient lazy person and did not like school.
Tom considered Huck Fin his best friend.
Tom was quietly pining for the jam from the cupboard; gave the cat some bitter medicine. But Tom wasn't just playing pranks. He read many books and wanted to become as brave and fair as the heroes he read about.

I have many favorite literary characters, but I will only talk about one of them. This is the Aztec Emperor Cuatemuc from Hopard's "Moctezuma's Daughter" books. He's not the main character, but I still really liked him. Cuatemuc was a great and wise ruler, as well as a brave warrior. He fought bravely against the Spanish conquerors. When he was captured and tortured for a long time, he did not reveal the location of the treasures of his country. He was a very proud and strong man. I love the same people. But, unfortunately, Emperor Cuatemuc was brutally executed by the Spaniards. This is how the last ruler of the Aztecs died.

My favorite character is Mary Poppins from the book Mary Poppins by Pamela Travis. Mary Poppins is an independent person. When Mary Poppins was carried by the wind, it was no coincidence that she went to house number 17 on Chereshnevaya Street to the Banks family. Mary Poppins is the best, most wonderful teacher! She raised four children. I like her because she is kind and sympathetic. Mary Poppins is a girl. She has a very kind face. Mary Poppins has a respectable and purposeful character. She dressed beautifully. She loved beautiful outfits and always admired herself in store windows and mirrors. When she had to fly away, she realized that she loved these children and returned to this family. But still, Mary Poppins lived in the sky, and flew to earth with a fair wind to do very good deeds. I really like Mary Poppins.

Every fairy tale and story has its own heroes. Heroes can be positive or negative. Of the historical stories I read, I liked the man who went down in history. This man was Alexander Nevsky. Throughout the entire story, I worried about him.
Alexander Nevsky became the patron and guardian angel of our region. His body rests in the Alexander Nevsky Monastery.
Alexander was the son of Grand Duke Yaroslav II. He was unusually smart, brave, beautiful in soul and face.
In those days, boys were seen early as little men. They were prepared for the complex and difficult fate of a prince-knight, a warrior and a ruler. In the cathedral, the bishop trimmed the prince's delicate curls. When the curls fell at the boy’s feet, it was believed that childhood was gone. After this, years of study began.
From the age of 15, Alexander and his father took part in the campaign against the German knights.
At the age of 16, he accepted the prince's sword from the hands of his father. So Alexander became the prince of the Novgorod land. For his victory over the Swedes on the Neva, he was nicknamed Nevsky.
He often went to Golden Horde with gifts. For this, the Mongol-Tatars did not raid or plunder Novgorod lands, and did not kidnap people.
A square, street, bridge, and metro station are named in honor of Alexander Nevsky.

My favorite literary character is Legolas

Legolas is the hero of Tolkien's Lord of the Rings trilogy. He's an elf. Elves are fairy-tale characters. Outwardly they look like people. Their distinctive feature are ears pointed at the top. Elves are light, hardy, can run fast and jump far, walk silently, and practically never get tired. They are very good archers. Each elf has a magical pendant that prevents them from aging.
Legolas is the best of the elves. It was he who agreed to be in the Fellowship of the Ring (this is a union of good fairy-tale characters that was created to destroy the ring of darkness and save the world).
I like Legolas because he is a brave and skilled warrior. On the way beyond the ring, the brotherhood was ambushed by the servants of darkness - the orcs. On the side of the enemies there was a troll - an evil fairy-tale character of gigantic stature. Legolas jumped on his shoulders, shot three arrows into his neck and killed the villain.
My favorite hero is distinguished by his nobility. He is ready to sacrifice his life for the sake of friendship and justice. During one battle, the allies found themselves in danger. Mammoths were rushing towards them. Legolas, risking his life, ran forward and began shooting arrows from his bow until the animal running towards the elf fell dead. This made it possible to call for help and repel the attack.
I really liked Legolas. I would like him to be my friend.

Books are different and so are the heroes. Many people have favorite heroes. Me too. I'll tell you about him now.
My favorite hero is the cat Matroskin. I like him because he is thrifty, caring, wayward, kind and loves to eat well. He's also quite friendly. In the story, he did housework. And when Uncle Fyodor fell ill, he looked after him. In general, Matroskin is special: firstly, he knows how to talk, and secondly, he really wanted to have his own last name, and even so that it would not be teasing.

My favorite literary hero is Gulliver, he is a ship's doctor.
What I like about him is that he loves to travel. All his travels are the most incredible adventures.
One of these adventures is his arrival in the country of Lilliput. He finds himself in a place where all the people and animals seem like ants to him, but despite their small size, they have proven that when they are together, they can cope even with such a giant as Gulliver.
Despite his difficult rescue and return home, Gulliver did not remain in his homeland for long; he was drawn to travel.

I really like the fairy tale about Cinderella because she is very kind and hardworking. Life was very difficult for her, she was always offended by her stepmother and sisters, but she was never upset. Despite all the humiliation and insults, she remained herself and dreamed.
